I used to hate Pollock's work... and although I'm still not really a fan of his stuff, it's is pretty apparent that his technique has inspired me to some extent.

I'm not a fan either. I really dont see the aesthetic value of his work (although I saw his piece at the MoMA and the mere scale of it was impressive). It's like you took the splatter technique and used it beautifully and effectively in a way that I think Pollock never accomplished.

I very much agree with this. The way the red is used in the woman and spread throughout the painting shows a wonderful sense of movement and direction.
